•On-Device Storage Only: All data created or entered by you within the app—including study tasks, notes, flashcard decks, exam schedules, timetable entries, GPA calculations, and timer settings—is saved locally on your device using Android's private SharedPreferences storage.

3. Third-Party Services and Analytics

Smart Study does not integrate any third-party SDKs, frameworks, or cloud services that collect or track user data:

•No Ad Networks: We do not display advertisements and do not use advertising identifiers (Ad-ID).

•No Analytics Tracking: We do not use Google Analytics, Firebase Analytics, Mixpanel, or any user tracking tools.

•No Crash Reporting Services: We do not send crash logs or diagnostic reports to external servers.

4. Permissions Used

Smart Study operates with zero sensitive permissions:

•No Location Permissions: The app does not access your coarse or fine GPS location.

•No Camera / Microphone Access: The app does not access your camera or audio recording hardware.

•No Storage / Media Access: The app does not read or write to public external storage.

•No Internet Access: The app does not require android.permission.INTERNET and operates completely offline.

5. Children's Privacy

Smart Study is family-safe and suitable for users of all ages, including students under the age of 13.

•We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 (or any age).

•Because the app operates completely offline and collects no data, it strictly complies with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) and the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

6. Data Retention and Deletion

Since all data is saved exclusively on your local device:

•Your data is retained on your device for as long as you keep the app installed.

•You can clear all app data at any time through the in-app Settings > Reset all data feature or via your Android device's Settings > Apps > Smart Study > Clear Data.

•Uninstalling the app permanently removes all locally stored app data from your device.

We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last Updated" date. You are advised to review this Privacy Policy periodically for any changes.
